Kito × Vans × AFROPUNK: Channel Interference (Pandemic Project)
In 2020, I was commissioned by Vans to contribute to AFROPUNK: Channel Interference—a 2-hour live broadcast series highlighting music, news, fashion, entertainment, and culture through a radical BIPOC lens.
For this project, I created a Bob Ross-inspired painting tutorial, guiding viewers step-by-step through the process of making an abstract cityscape.
The three videos below capture the broadcast as it aired—beginning with the intro “fuzz” and progressing through each stage of the tutorial.
